The PAM 692 replica was produced by VS in March 2020, and it has been quite some time since its release. Last year, VS created several Luminor Submersible models, most of which are 47mm and made from forged carbon material. It appears that Panerai has made some updates to its Submersible line, as these new watches now look more fashionable and are more open to using various materials and colors.
In the genuine watch, the case is crafted from Panerai’s BGM-TECH material rather than pure Titanium, while the replica is made entirely of Titanium. I believe this is the most significant difference between the replica wacth and the genuine PAM 692, as the case materials differ. I don’t think the main difference lies in the movement, as this Super Clone P.9010 closely resembles the real P.9010 Calibre in appearance. Due to the difference in case material, the weight of the replica PAM 692 may not match that of the genuine watch.
The case back is solid and features all the necessary information found on a genuine PAM 692, including the prominent torpedo logo at the center, which is a distinctive characteristic of the PAM 692 Submersible. You can easily open the case back with a small bubble ball. Inside, the movement is quite beautiful, with each component produced by a watch part factory according to the dimensions of the genuine P.9010 movement components. I believe these replica movement components can be interchanged with the genuine ones. The only drawback is that the replica Panerai does not offer the same long power reserve.
Additionally, in addition to the black rubber strap on the watch, the VS factory also provides a blue leather strap as an option.
